KOMWAG wins the CZECH BUSINESS SUPERBRANDS AWARD 2017!
Congratulations to our Czech subsidiary KOMWAG a.s., chosen for the Czech Business SUPERBRAND award 2017! This honor shows that the KOMWAG brand is known in the Czech Republic, is valued and offers customers and business partners the security to maintain excellent quality.
In 1996, Wagner founded KOMWAG a.s. (KOM for communal - WAG for Wagner, PLC) as a joint-venture with the city of Prague, which celebrated her 20th anniversary in 2016. From a small enterprise with ancient machines in a ramshackle office house in Prague 2, originated a successful service enterprise which employs 275 people today and has nearly 100 vehicles in use.
Already in 1991, Viktor Wagner began with the expansion of his REIWAG Facility Services in the former Czechoslovakia. One called him "east pioneer". Wagner: "It was nice to see, how a formerly communist state developed to a blossoming business partner for Austria and for other countries."
In April 2016, the Austrian Federal President, Dr. Heinz Fischer, visited KOMWAG and REIWAG in Prague and was impressed by the achievements and the successful history of the enterprise. In June 2015, KOMWAG established a new office building. On the occasion of the opening ceremony the Austrian ambassador Dr. Ferdinand Trauttmansdorff, also addressed an audience. Due to the company's long-term orientation and strategy all enterprises of the REIWAG group fortunately are able to operate completely equity-financed.
